Q: How Do I know What Size Dumpster I Need?
A: We offer 10-20-and 30 yard dumpsters for Rent. For example, a 10 yard dumpster is the equivalent of 3 pick up trucks full- Call us to discuss your needs and we can help you select the proper container.
Q. What are some items that may cost extra to dispose of in a dumpster?
A. Certain items have restrictions due to local regulations, and special handling requirements at landfills or recycling facilities. Some of these are Mattresses and Box Springs, Appliances, Tires, and E-Waste. See our Hazardous Materials page for a complete list- If you are not sure- just give us a call! Q. What other services do you offer?
A. Along with the roll off dumpster rentals, we also offer light demolition (and haul away) of things like garages, concrete steps, driveways and patios. Also We have a crew for junk removal to clear out large amounts of accumulated junk from places like garages and basements. We also have upfront pricing so you can know what to expect.
Q. How can I prepare and load my dumpster to avoid overweight charges?
A. Choose the right size dumpster- sort your waste (heavy items ( like concrete) from lighter items (like wood furniture etc..) Where able, break down bulky items. Distribute weight evenly, fill gaps with smaller debris, and utilize vertical space with stacking- Never Over Fill – Adhere to the Fill line note on the container.
Q. What happens if I add prohibited items to the dumpster?
A. Disposing of hazardous waste, certain appliances, or electronics often results in extra charges or is strictly prohibited.
Q. What should I do if I am not seeing my location on your service area?
A. Give us a call! Often we will still bring a dumpster to you!
Q. What should I do to prepare for the dumpster arrival?
A. Make it clear before we arrive where you intend the dumpster to be placed. keep the surrounding area open to allow for the truck and dumpster to navigate to the best area. Our dumpsters are delivered directly to your location by our experienced drivers. We also will place lumber beneath the dumpster wheels to protect the driveway or pavement.
Q. I have a small demolition project I need done What should I know?
A. Always feel free to give us a call 763.762.6392 to discuss the project in full. We have the equipment and experienced crew to address things like a garage take downs, and cement projects, etc.. Be aware that demolition projects do require a permit through the city, and are the owners responsibility. Note also that scheduled and emergency street sweeping and snow removal will void these permits. It is the homeowner’s or contractor’s responsibility to inform our office once signs are placed, so we may remove the dumpsters from the street.
